Eden Duthie
Eden is a web developer working on the Protocol for the Analysis of Land Surface models (PALS) web application with Dr Gab Abramowitz. He is interested in data mining, classification, high performance computing and optimisation.

Dr Yoichi Takayama
Yoichi is developing a web application for the analysis and visualisation of global climate extremes for an ARC Linkage project. The application uses a suite of statistical calculations on a global dataset, both of which are being developed by the research conducted by a team of Dr Lisa Alexander.

Detailed study reveals workings of major oceanic pathway

Researchers from the UNSW Climate Change Research Centre (CCRC) and CSIRO have used a state-of-the-art ocean model to conduct the first detailed investigation of oceanic water flow between the Pacific and Indian Oceans via the south of Australia. |
